Introduction of Ilkester 401 Pigment Paste

Ilkester 401 pigment paste has important advantages over other brands, including very high covering power, complete whiteness, and resistance to yellowing and high temperatures. 401 pigment paste is produced for polyester and gelcoat coloring. Therefore, it can be compatible with polyester and gelcoats in any ratio.

Important points regarding the use of Ilkester 401 pigment paste

Store Ilkester 401 Pigment Paste in a non-moist place, at room temperature and without tilting the boxes. Before opening the box, write the color number on the top cover of the box so that it does not mix with other covers. Mix the paint with a clean and dry mixer before use. Do not under any circumstances reinsert wood that has been contaminated with polyester, gelcoat, or styrene.

In this case, your pigment paste will harden and become unusable within a few months. Do not add Ilkester 401 Pigment Paste directly to polyester or gelcoat. After mixing it in some polyester or gel coat in a separate bowl, add as much pigment paste as needed.

When choosing a pigment paste, check whether the pigment paste is suitable for the environment you are using, apart from its color characteristics. In transparent pigment pastes, it should be used in the highest amount so that the gel coat or polyester does not overpower the color of the pigment paste.
