Introducing Teta Hardener (10%)
Teta (10%) hardener or triethylene tetraamine (theta) hardener is classified as aliphatic amine hardener and has a high curing speed and is known as 10% hardener in the market. Theta Toso hardener is baked at ambient temperature and during baking, the temperature increase is higher than other hardeners.
Theta Toso hardener can be used with different Iranian resins such as Khuzestan E06 epoxy resin and Kemho KER828 resin.
Theta Toso hardener has a low viscosity, has received much attention when the use of this hardener in industries where the viscosity of the resin and hardener mixture is important.
10% Teta Hardener applications
One of the most important applications of Theta Toso hardener can be mentioned in the composite industry, adhesive production industry, stone, shoe mold, grout, etc.
– Composite industries
– Epoxy hardeners
– Gluing (asphalt glue) and bitumen and asphalt additives
– Floor coverings
– Tank cover
– Additive aid in mineral processing
– Corrosion inhibitors
– Production of polyamide resins
– Production of detergents and surfactants
– Purification of hydrocarbons
– Textile auxiliary materials
– Oil and fuel additives
Benefits of 10% Teta Hardener
Triethylene tetra amines, or epoxy theta hardener manufactured by Toso Japan, is used as an additive in many petrochemical products due to its chemical structure. Theta hardening compounds are resistant to corrosion and are used in the production of polyamide resins.
These materials are used as a raw material in factories producing detergents. Among other features of Theta hardener, the following can be mentioned:
– Appropriate viscosity
– Heat resistant
– Resistant in chemically active environments
– Good mechanical properties
– Applicable in environments affected by petroleum products
– No decrease in mechanical properties over time
– Good adhesion to various materials
– Long usage time at ambient temperature
10% Teta Hardener storage conditions
Epoxy Theta hardener turns yellow in the vicinity of air and causes oxidation.
One of the most important issues that you should always consider is that epoxy resin and hardener must be stored and used in certain conditions.
The most suitable temperature for working with epoxy resin and hardener is between 23 degrees and 25 degrees, of course, keep in mind that if the temperature reaches 30 degrees in summer, there will be no special problem for the resin, but this point must be very important to be considered for the winter season.
Another point that is very important is the conditions under which the product should be stored before using epoxy resin and hardener. The first point is that we should put the product in containers where light does not penetrate and the ambient temperature is below 18 degrees. Another important point regarding environmental conditions is air humidity control, air humidity should not be more than 50%
If the air humidity is more than 50%, this factor causes your final product to become a little flexible when the epoxy resin and hardener dry, or it may not dry at all, or the shape may change after a period of time.
