Introduction of Chromate fibers
Chromate fiber is a type of non-woven polyester fiber that contains microscopic hollow spherical powders. These fibers are used in reinforced laminate processes, especially in Spray-up and Handlay-up methods.
Characteristics of Chromate fibers
Strong and light: The bulky texture of these fibers creates a strong and light combination.
Reducing the weight of the part: using chromate fibers helps to reduce the overall weight of the parts.
Quick thickness creation: This feature allows for quick thickness creation.
High mechanical resistance: Chromate fibers have high pressure strength, which increases the durability of the final products.
Chromate fiber applications
Chromate fibers are used in various industries, including:
Building: To strengthen structures and increase their resistance.
Tanks: in the construction of tanks resistant to environmental conditions.
Boats: for the construction of boats that require strength and lightness.
Vehicle: in the production of car parts and other vehicles to reduce weight and increase safety.
Sizes and packaging
Chromate fibers are available in two different sizes:
Chromate fibers 2 mils: each roll contains 70 meters in length and one meter in width.
Chromate fibers 4 mils: each roll contains 40 meters in length and one meter in width.
